Active Ingredient: Griseofulvin 2.5g/10cc Dose (Equal to one pack of Fulvicin).  10 doses, which is 25 grams of Griseofulvin, per container.
Inactive Ingredients:  Lactose Monohydrate, Stevia, and Natural Apple Flavor.
 
Griseofulvin is an antifungal agent when taken orally, is active against the superficial fungi which cause ringworm of the skin and hair. Griseofulvin has activity against Trichophyton, Microsporum, and Epidermophyton. It has no antibacterial activity and is not effective against other fungi.  Safety in pregnant mares has not been established.
 
Griseofulvin should be given with food to increase absorption. Griseofulvin enhances the cytochrome P-450 enzymes and may cause an increased metabolism and clearance of concurrently administered drugs. The recommended dose for a 1,000-pound horse is 2.5 grams once daily by mouth for a minimum of 10 days.
 
Dosage and Administration:  Administer two level 5cc scoops (supplied) by oral administration once daily for 10 days.  NOTE: Many veterinarians like to administer the entire 10-day dose at one time through a nasogastric tube.
